Rocío Hervella entrega el I Premio PROArte a María Elisa Rivera. La joven artista madrileña consigue el galardón con una obra pictórica abstracta que refleja el paso del tiempo
La fundadora y CEO de Prosol, Rocío Hervella, entregó el I Premio PROArte a la artista madrileña María Elisa Rivera Armada, ganadora de este galardón recién creado que pretende valorar el talento de jóvenes artistas menores de 30 años, según informó la entidad organizadora.
El premio, dotado con 3.000 euros, nace con vocación de continuidad para poner el foco en el papel esencial que la cultura y los jóvenes juegan como motor de progreso, tal y como destacó Rocío Hervella en el sencillo acto de entrega celebrado este miércoles en la sede de la cafetera palentina.
María Elisa Rivera presentó a concurso una obra abstracta inspirada en el paso del tiempo (130 x 97 centímetros / acrílico, resina e-poxi, materia de carga piedra pómez microgranulada). Utilizando una técnica mixta sobre lienzo, convierte el óxido en una creación poética y evocadora de la que el jurado, formado por los artistas Inmaculada Amor y Gonzalo Páramo, destacó su «fuerza y equilibrio» y la reflexión realizada «sobre el concepto de lo degradado reflejado por el paso del tiempo a través del uso de diferentes técnicas».
La ganadora reconoció durante el acto de entrega que este premio es «un espaldarazo maravilloso para alguien que acaba de finalizar sus estudios»; una oportunidad que espera aprovechar en forma de algún viaje que le permita seguir ampliando su formación artística.
Como recién graduada en Bellas Artes, «haber ganado un concurso como este de PROArte, en el que un jurado con tanta experiencia y profesionalidad ha apostado por mí, me enorgullece enormemente y, sobre todo, me ayuda a seguir este camino que he elegido como estilo de vida y trayectoria profesional y que tanto me llena y tan feliz me hace», afirmó María Elisa Rivera en declaraciones a Diario Palentino cuando se hizo público el fallo del jurado. Agradece a Prosol esta iniciativa que «fomenta y brinda una pizca de ilusión a los noveles en este mundo artístico, porque ningún buen artista nació sabiendo, y creo que son necesarios más proyectos como este para fomentar el arte joven en nuestra sociedad». María Elisa Rivera suma este I Premio PROarte a los galardones conseguidos en la categoría de pintura en la tercera y cuarta convocatorias del concurso de artes plásticas del hotel Four Seasons Madrid.
Señalar por último que PROArte se inició con una llamativa intervención del artista palentino Gonzalo Páramo, que convirtió en objetos de colección siete viejas cafeteras utilizadas en la fábrica que Prosol tiene en Venta de Baños.
Con la entrega del premio, una beca dotada con 3.000 euros, pone el broche a una idea a través de la que Prosol pretende remarcar el papel esencial que la cultura juega como motor de progreso.
